Education Information:

Levent Alimgil completed his secondary education at St. George’s Austrian High School in Istanbul between 1972 and 1980, and graduated from Istanbul University Cerrahpaša Faculty of Medicine in 1986. He completed his residency in ophthalmology at Trakya University Faculty of Medicine in 1990 and continued his academic career at the same university, where he was appointed Assistant Professor in 1994, Associate Professor in 2001, and Professor of Ophthalmology in 2007.

• 2009–2019 — Medicana International Istanbul Hospital, Head of the Department of Ophthalmology
